The LUCY Force

Good afternoon. Thank you for coming to our briefing. This is the initial testing of the worlds leading team of Rescue Rangers. The Lucy force comprised of a team of 5 doctors, 3 Nurse Practitioners, 2 Civilian Officers, and different contacts ranging from Texas to Missouri to New York have been briefed on their mission to retrieve the top secret "LUCY Project" from where she is being held. Reports indicate that the "LUCY Project" is currently found in uninhabitable conditions and if left there for too long, this priceless project that has been 9 months in the making, might sustain damages.

The plan of action is this. A special strike force will deactivate the shield generator holding "LUCY" captive. Then through natural and man made forces "LUCY" will be extracted and delivered to a safe location. We will be monitoring the health of everyone involved during this process and are confident that it will go according to plan. The scheduled date for this procedure is July 16, 2009. If there are no questions you are dismissed to receive your particular assignments.

Ok. All funny buisiness aside. Rachel has a condition called Intraheptic Cholestasis of Pregnancy. This means that her liver is not producing bile like it should. The bile normally breaks down chemicals in her blood that aren't broken down elsewhere in the body. Since these chemical (called bile acids) are not being broken down they are building up in her body, and some are being transfered to Lucy, and her liver is trying to do the job that Rachel's can't right now. There are some risks invovled but they are rare and everything should be fine. But to eliminate these risks, Rachel is scheduled to be induced on the 16th of July. This is a couple weeks early but Lucy sounds and looks good and Rachel's body is a little ahead of the game so it will most likely all go perfectly fine.

So there is just a little update for ya.

Thanks
