And we were Grateful!
Every time Rach and I dominate a mountain, we leave out mark. Not a permanent one mind you. But it will live on in our pictures.
Everybody needs to take some time and think about life.
What you don't know is that this is really on a cliff about 100 ft up. And she makes it look so easy.
So there we were. It was the season for giving thanks. Family had gathered in from the far reaches on the known world, some coming even from the barbarian lands of Colorado, to grace our festivities with their presence. It was during this time, that we participated in time honored traditions, such as, eating, gorging our selves, and of course, working it all off by walking up mountains. What. If stuffing yourself was bad then gluttony would be a sin. Anyways..these are some of the pictures of us, in the wonderful backcountry, known as Zion's National Park.

Yo Ho!
Avast ye Pirate Meldrums! Its been three months since ye last heard from us...arrrrrrr. Some might call three months a trimester. The fact is we be pregnant. Yo Ho!
Okay, enough with the pirate talk, but we are serious about the pregnant thing. We found out at the end of November Heavenly Father is blessing us with a new bundle of joy. This is helping us towards our goal of increasing the number of amazing Meldrums in the world.
We also have moved once again to a cute little basement in south Provo. We like to call our new place, "The bat cave" or sometimes " the cave of wonders". It just seems to fit. Its a perfect place for our little family.
Brad is trucking out his hardest semester of chemical engineering, and working part time as an intern at Flow Serve, the same company where Joel Stewart works. He is most excited this semester about an ice hockey class that he is taking. Last night we went to our first Hockey game together and Brad turned to me and said, "I could definitely get into this". It will be a fun outlet from his grinding classes.
Rach is dominating the world. Just kidding. However, she is pretty much finished with classes and is now working full time at the Mission Training Center continuing teaching chinese, and now working on developing chinese study materials for the senior missionaries. Since cooking meat has made her kind of sick with her pregnancy, she has really gotten creative with vegitarian dishes.
Shiver me timbers and blow me down...and really bad eggs. You best be looking out or every mothers son what calls himself pirate will be down your throats! Until next time ye scally wags. ARRRRRRRRRRR

The R-Factor
Lately Rach and I have been dabbling in Music Videos.
If we were to make a band, I think we would call it the R-Factor. Cool huh.
Check it out.

And Sometimes things just work out!
So...It goes like this. I was just in the library looking to check out the book twilight and the electronic card catalog directed me to this small room with lots of couches and tons of popular books in it. The computer said there was one copy available. I looked along a couple of the walls searching for the first twilight, but for some reason I couldn't find it. I was about to be defeated and head back to my computer, when all of a sudden I heard a voice say, "Are you looking for this?" I turned around and a girl sitting on one of the couches held up the twilight book. I was like, "Yeah, Actually!" She was like, "I figured you were". Then she handed it to me and said she was just finished with it. Shocked and excited I'm psyched that she was willing just to hand it to me and that she even noticed her surroundings.
...And sometimes things just work out...
